Second National Conference of the Bulgarian Society for Dermatologic Surgery, 13-14 March, 2020, Hotel Marinela, Sofia Hall 1 !

The Bulgarian Dermatosurgical Society – BULSDS invites all colleagues, friends, dermatologists, dermatosurgeons, maxillo-facial surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, onco- surgeons, radiotherapists, vascular surgeons, well-established, as well as young, but also future specialists. to attend the second national congress of the society on March 13-14 this year, which will be held at the Marinela Hotel, Sofia.

The Bulgarian Dermatosurgical Society is the organization that will once again host this forum, in which, apart from the pronounced participation of Bulgarian specialists / young scientists, more and more colleagues from other Western European countries are joining, leading the prestigious institutes, departments and modern hospitals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and rare dermatoses.

This national conference turns into a bridge for partnership, close collaboration and mutual assistance between specialists in the country, but also an opportunity for a direct debate with distinguished scientists from all over the world, giving an opportunity to present and discuss our innovative findings, hypotheses and observations.

The main purpose of the congress is to potentiate and create a dermatosurgical society, to motivate and build a new wave of young scientists and specialists (with dermatosurgical focus), based entirely on our clinical experience in recent years, but at the same time a direct comparison can be made with the experiences of colleagues from other countries.

The congress will present topics that will be narrowly focused, but many other dermatology and oncology sectors will be presented, which make it broad-based and give rise to interest and expression from a diverse group of specialists.

In this year’s congress, the topics that draw attention to cancer/ skin cancer will be essential- in particular, cutaneous melanoma and the steps that are needed to prevent, diagnose and treat it properly:

1) Drug-induced cutaneous tumors – myth or reality?
2) Innovative New Surgical Therapy for Cutaneous Melanoma: Innovations from Bulgaria!
3) Rare dermatological diseases and rare cutaneous tumors – clinical management.
4) Advanced cutaneous tumors – surgical techniques or conservative therapy?
5) Rare mycotic and therapeutically resistant infections from India!

These questions and many more topics will be discussed in detail. A wonderful opportunity that will give rise to a new understanding of the pathogenesis, treatment and recurrence of skin tumors, and in particular of cutaneous melanoma.

Join us and become a part of us!
