Dr Simona Kordeva was born in 1997 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated with honors from the National Trade and Banking High school in Sofia, earning a third degree professional qualification in Finance, majoring in Finance, Banking, and Insurance. In 2023 Dr Kordeva graduated from the Medical Faculty of Medical University of Sofia. She is fluent in Bulgarian, English, and German.
During her studies, she actively participates in numerous medical seminars, congresses, conferences, and workshops, which helped shape her medical expertise and passion for Dermatology. Since 2022, Dr Kordeva has actively participated in the National Congresses of the Bulgarian Society of Dermatologic Surgery, presenting new and innovative topics in the Dermatological field. In the 21st edition of ICMS 2023, she participated as a mentor for students and young doctors at the Medical University of Sofia.
During 2022-2023, she contributed to writing over 30 articles for the “Internal disease” section of “Bulgarian Encyclopedia”, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).
She is the author and co-author of over 46 scientific articles published in Bulgarian and international journals with an impact factor, including Wiener Medizinische Wochenschrift, Georgian Medical News, Dermatology Reports, Journal of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology, Journal of Clinical Research in Dermatology, and etc with 21 of her articles currently available in PubMed.
Dr Kordeva’s professional interests are centered around dermatosurgery, dermatooncology, and autoimmune diseases.
