The International Congress of Medical Sciences for students and young doctors will take place for the nineteenth straight year, from 14th-17th May, at Medical University of Sofia. Hosts of the event are the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria – Sofia (AMSB-Sofia).
With its large number of participants and a varied schedule, it is no surprise that ICMS has the reputation of one of the biggest and forward-thinking congresses in Europe and connects our participants with over 600 young medical students and doctors.
Each year we focus on innovation in medicine and the newest treatment methods. Active participants have the opportunity to present their research work in four categories: Preclinical Sciences, Internal Medicine, Surgery and Public Health. The best presentation of each category compete for the big prize of our science program.
Another thing that draws our participants’ attention are the 40+ workshops, which aim to improve practical skills – ranging from Surgical Stitching and Intubation to Eye Surgery; as well as talks, given by our Keynote Speakers – Clinical Researchers, who share their scientific discoveries and their career paths.
