Dear colleagues, friends and followers,
for the eighth consecutive year, we are pleased to welcome you to our scientific forum with renewed energy.
The Bulgarian Society of Dermatological Surgery (BDDH) is opening its doors again in March 2026 at the Grand Hotel Millennium in Sofia and is ready to welcome you into our professional community.
As the host of the event for eight years now, this congress has become not only a well-established tradition for the Bulgarian Society of Dermatological Surgery (BDDH), but also a challenge with multifaceted issues and a source of innovative thinking.
Every year, the Bulgarian Society for Dermatologic Surgery (BDDH) provides an opportunity to present interesting theses and scientific developments, to present clinical cases and studies, giving the freedom to make and discuss parallels not only to the lecturers, but also to the guests in attendance.
We believe that sharing experience, discussing vital issues, and any idea for a “step forward” in medicine would play a key role in human healthcare.
With each passing year, the organization strives to attract the attention of specialists in the fields of dermatology, dermatosurgery, oncological surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and pharmacology, as well as future specialists and anyone interested in the scientific aspect of discoveries related to and concerning the most valuable factor in healthcare.
The program includes interesting dilemmas concerning exogenously initiated/drug-induced Nitrosogenesis/ Nitroso Photocarcinogenesis in the context of the Oncopharmacogenesis of skin cancer, dermatolsurgery, and rare dermatological diseases.
The exchange we would like to achieve between lecturers and attendees is of paramount importance for progress in medicine and the development of young professionals.
For this very reason, we welcome everyone to be not just listeners, but also active participants and critics during the event.
Meaningful dialogue and objective criticism remain the guiding motto this year, aiming to achieve optimal solutions for the future.
For eight consecutive years, the Bulgarian Society of Dermatologic Surgery (BDDH) has managed to build a solid foundation as an event and venue in Bulgaria that attracts the attention of doctors not only from the country but also from around the world.
Leading names in Europe will once again be our guests and lecturers. These are proven specialists who head/work in some of the best medical institutes/clinics in the field of dermatological surgery and dermatopathology.
Over the years, interest in this national congress has grown, which is a motivating factor for the organization.
The Bulgarian Society for Dermatologic Surgery continues to engage with important medical dilemmas concerning the pathogenesis and surgical treatment of skin cancer, providing an opportunity for more and more colleagues to present their scientific theses, ask questions, and seek answers together. It is precisely these answers that will help improve patient diagnosis and, consequently, the development of dermatology and dermatosurgery.
In this way, the Bulgarian Society for Dermatologic Surgery (BDDH) takes the specialty to a broader scale and discovers its influence and points of contact with other medical specialties.
The Bulgarian Society for Dermatologic Surgery (BDDH) is and remains an organization that, since its inception, has strived to break established stereotypes, support and direct attention to better, higher quality and innovative thinking, which is undoubtedly leading the development of dermatology and dermatosurgery worldwide.
One of the main goals is to give everyone who is interested in this field the opportunity to present their views, discoveries, moral values, and responsibility, sharing them with an audience where they will be heard and received with understanding, criticism, but also a serious dose of professionalism.
